Assessment of your child's needs in your home for up to 1.5 hours including:

• Pre-assessment Questionnaire (details about your child's development, medical history and interests)

• Observation and assessment of your child's communication skills through play

• Guidance for supporting your child's speech and language at home

• Written summary of discussions and recommendations 

• Liaison with your child's preschool or school as required

Full assessment of your child's needs in your home and/or educational setting for up to two hours including:

• Pre-assessment Questionnaire (details about your child's development, medical history and interests)

• Observation and assessment of your child's communication skills through play

• Detailed assessment of your child's communication using standardised assessments as appropriate

• Guidance for supporting your child's speech and language at home

• Full written report of your child's communication skills and needs

• Liaison with your child's preschool or school as required

N.B If more than 2 hours of assessment are required to fully assess your child, additional time will be agreed with you in advance and invoiced at the hourly rate. Reports that require longer than 3 hours to complete will also be invoiced at the hourly rate. 

One hour sessions held at your home, in your child's pre-school/school setting or online:

• Fun activities to develop your child's speech and language skills

• Demonstration of games and activities that you will be able to play with your child between appointments

• Feedback and discussion of progress at every session

• Resources given to suit your child's needs

• Discussion and agreement of goals for your child

Please Note:

• It is essential that either a parent or member of staff are involved in the therapy sessions

• A quiet environment  will help to make the therapy sessions as successful as possible

Visits can be made to your child in their educational setting in order to:

​

• Observe how your child communicates in their setting as part of a detailed assessment

• Demonstrate activities / train staff to support your child

• Meet with you and staff to agree a plan for supporting your child

A bespoke programme can be created for your child which includes:

• Clear goals for your child to work towards

• Detailed strategies and activities for you and/or staff to carry out

• Quality resources for activities within the programme

• Demonstration of activities at your home or in your child's educational setting

• Review of progress throughout the programme as required

• Attendance at professional meetings to discuss your child's support and progress

• These may be annual reviews in school, progress meetings in pre-school or meetings with other professionals working with your child

• Parents will always be invited to attend meetings

• If you are unable to attend I will feed back to you at an agreed time

• No fee charged for the first 20 minutes of travel to appointments

• Excess charges only apply for journeys to an appointment

• Excess travel charged at £80 per hour, pro-rata

• Travel times are calculated using The AA Route Planner (www.theaa.com)

• All journeys are calculated from my base (Hassocks)

• A £50 deposit is required when booking your first appointment, the remainder will be invoiced on completion of the assessment

• Therapy sessions must be paid for at the beginning of each new block of sessions

• Additional reports, meetings or visits will be invoiced once completed

• Preferred method of payment is via bank transfer

• Invoices should be settled within 10 days
